Bamtaumod.com is now partially live.

For those who have issues with the Nexus S Orca Experimental Build, a new build is coming sometime this week.

Galaxy Nexus Stable builds will be updated

Xoom builds with 4G support will added.

Droid X, Nexus One and Nook Color builds are coming as well by next week.

Pro Kernels will also be added to the site and the rom will be slightly updated with new features.

Great news! The Orca Project is nearly complete. We are just working on a few more things and looking for maintainers and doing more testing.

That's not the big news though. We have started working on the new site and its almost ready for launch when The Orca Project is completed. 

The biggest news is that with The Orca Project we are also going to be launching a Desktop/Notebook version to go along side with it. It will be dual-bootable with your current operating system and be based off of Android 4.0.3 and we are working on having the ability of having the ability of installing Ubuntu software and linux packages as well. We can't wait for everything.

The question has been raised what is the difference between DrewGaren and BamtauMod? I have explained what and who BamtauMod is earlier and that can be found here for those looking for a full description. This link also offers a description of DrewGaren's role in BamtauMod. The main function of BamtauMod is to supply CM9 Kangs for as many devices as possible, regardless of hardware capability; as well as creating custom Roms for multiple devices. DrewGaren is the creator of BamtauMod and is a maintainer for multiple devices and the website at BamtuaMod. This is first release of CM9 Kang and is a stable daily driver of BamtauMod's CM9 Kangs. Though it's just the beginning of CM9, this is great and super fast to use. If you just want CM9. Depending on if you install the add on pack or not you will get all the extra features out rom. This rom has excellent performance and battery life and is the of CM9 kangs by BamtauMod with all the extra goodies. The 4G version is untested, however the 3G version is tested and works very well, including the camera media effects and face unlock.
